Our boat, a 7.5 metre RIB, is conveniently berthed in the marina, just a short 50-meter walk from the dive centre entrance. To make things even easier for our divers, weight belts are kept on the boat, minimizing any unnecessary heavy lifting. Our boat is never left unattended at anchor.

In the European Union, scuba diving insurance is compulsory for third party liability and medical recompression therapy. As an affiliated partner with Axa, we offer affordable policies to customers who don’t have their own scuba diving insurance. With us, you can enjoy peace of mind and worry-free diving.

At Los Gigantes Diving Centre, we have large, secure storage racks for personal equipment, so you won‘t have to carry heavy dive bags around everywhere. If you don‘t have your own diving equipment, full kit hire is available, and we have 10, 12, or 15-liter steel tanks.

We regularly visit around 15 different diving sites consisting of spectacular volcanic scenery, arches, and caverns with plenty to satisfy all levels of training. Water temperatures vary from 19° C in the winter to 24° C in the summer, and being in a sub-tropical Atlantic Ocean means that we have a large and amazing diversity of marine life, including rays, moray eels, octopus, turtles, and more. Don’t forget to bring your camera, or hire one of ours.

Our dive schedule operates twice a day, meeting at 09:30 and 12:00 at the dive center, and we always return to the center between dives for a coffee break and to change bottles. At peak times, we put on more dives per day and operate on Sundays if required. As the furthest dive site is a 20 minute boat trip from the marina, one dive takes no more than about 2 hours of your time, leaving plenty of opportunity to relax in the sun or take a tour with the family to see the spectacular scenery of Tenerife.

Located at 28 15 N, 16 50W, only 5 degrees north of the tropic of cancer, Los Gigantes is situated on the southwest coast of Tenerife, beneath the magnificent 500-meter cliffs. It offers diving on the most sheltered part of Tenerife, governed by the North East Trade Winds. The cliffs and the geographical location of Los Gigantes make the village the warmest and calmest resort in Tenerife, making it an ideal choice for families or diving groups. Plus, it‘s within a reasonable traveling distance of the many attractions, other than diving, which Tenerife has to offer.
